Happy Halloween!

As you all know, this past weekend was one of my favorite holidays: Halloween!Honestly, I did not get a costume this year. Well, I did, but it did not work out. My plan was to be Shakira from the video "Hips don't Lie." However, I was also planning on losing a lot of weight before that. Needless to say, that didn't happen. This meant I was totally hopeless when Saturday's costume party came! However, I was determined to find something to wear to the party. I searched all over my closet. There it was! I found it. I happened to have some bell bottom sweatpants (weird, I know). Also, I had a rainbow vest and a headband. I put it all together and BAM, I was a hippie. I know, not very creative, but I was desperate. I later met up with my best friend Amy and we went to the party! She was dressed as Britney Spears and it was awesome!

We arrived at the party and were greeted by a huge crowd of people. They were all very impressed by Amy's costume; my costume, not so much. However, I did not really care, at least I had a costume. Some people were lame and did not even dress up at all! All in all, I was impressed with myself and I had an extremely fun night!

Sean Foreman WILL be my husband

For the people who do not know, I have a best friend. Her name is Amy. She is pretty chill. One day as we sat in our room discussing our activities for fall break, Amy told me she was going to the 3oh!3 concert and invited me to join.

Now, I have heard a couple of 3oh!3's songs. They had a couple hits that went mainstream. However, I had never really truly invested in their music. Boy, I should have.

I was kind of pumped for Thursday night of fall break to come around. I was not completely bouncing off the walls to see 3oh!3, but I was somewhat excited. A group of six girls, myself included, took a taxi to the concert.

I was expecting this concert to be more formal. I thought there would be seats and rows and proper numbering. Man, I was wrong. I show up to find a huge group of all different types of people crowded together into one big blob. My friends and I pushed our way in before the concert started. Suddenly, the lights went out. The screams were mind-blowing. I started to get a rush. 3oh!3 walked on the stage. As I looked up to the stage, I saw him; the man I am going to marry.

Sean Foreman is one of the two band members of 3oh!3. He is one of the most attractive singers I have ever seen. His gorgeous blue eyes and million dollar smile made me cry tears of happiness. Not only was he aesthetically pleasing, but he had a sense of humor and stage presence. He cracked jokes with the crowd. He danced like a goof. He even started interacting with the audience. It was pure bliss. I never wanted the concert to end. I just wanted to drool over this perfect guy.

Needless to say, the concert did end, and so did my joy. However, I downloaded all of 3oh!3's videos on Itunes and I watch them regularly to get a glimpse of my future husband.

Trinity Club VB

In case ya'll (I know, I said "ya'll"! I'm turning into a Texan!) did not know, I participate in the club volleyball team for Trinity. I play outside hitter and I pretty much rock. This past Saturday, we had a super long tournament. I woke up at 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning. It was awful, especially considering the fact that I had gone to bed at 3:30 a.m. that same morning. If you are not a math genius, that is three total hours of sleep! Although I only slumbered for three hours, my mom brought me a Starbucks coffee, which pepped me up real quick!

After the long car ride, I arrived at the location where we would be playing our tournament. The caffeine was pulsing through my veins. I was so hyper that my teammates were scared and confused. Everyone looked like zombies. However, we had to play at nine, so they needed to suck it up. When nine came around, we were all pumped up and ready to play. However, we got creamed. Why did we get creamed? The setter on the the other team had the prettiest hands I had ever seen. Her hands reminded me of a soft angel floating on a fluffy cloud. Not only was the setter amazing, but they has an outside hitter who jumped literally 32 inches! I did NOT want to dig her hits! After a hard loss, we had a break.

During the break, our team went to watch the boys club volleyball team. Man, they are awesome! These boys jumped so high that their faces went over the net. I was so impressed that I wanted to cry in happiness. In addition, the boys were attractive. It was a combination of my two favorite things; volleyball and hot boys. Not only did I enjoy this bliss, but my friend Kelsea (we call ourselves "k squared") decided she was going to marry this 6' 7" kid on the opposing team named Phil. However, the game ended and so did our enjoyment. It was time to play again.

The rest of the tournament was okay. We had an even record; nothing too special. However, I have never had so much fun at a volleyball tournament. I also felt like I really improved throughout the day. I love my volleyball girls and I cannot wait for the next tournament!

This is me. Ha Just Kidding. This is a girl we played at the tournament. Her vertical is amazing!

Kelsey is Crippled

The perfect word that can be used to describe me would be the word "klutz." I have been at Trinity for a whole month and already I have had a slew of embarrassing injuries. My first injury was my sprained left ankle. One might think that I did it doing something athletic, but that person would be wrong. However, I was attempting to do something athletic. While I was in the weight room getting my swoll on, something terrible happened. I stepped up on the bench to do some pull up exercises on the bar. After finishing my exercise, I hopped off the bench. You might be thinking, "Well why didn't she just step off?" The answer is because I wanted to look cool in front of the guys in the weight room, so I jumped. Unknown to me, there was a box right next to the bench. I landed on it weird, and ended up in the trainers. Luckily, I held my tears until I got back into my dorm, because I am cool like that. That seems like enough embarrassment for a month, right? Apparently it wasn't.

A mere week later, I was walking up to Coates to get a smoothie in the Commons. This was a mistake, for it was nighttime. Nighttime is when all the bugs come out. I hate bugs. As I'm walking up the stairs, I spot a huge bug! I ran for my life. Unfortunately, I tripped on myself and ended up falling down the stairs. There were two people behind me. I came back to my dorm with huge scabs on my knees and toes. By the way, I still have them after two weeks.

The last thing I have to add to my list of injuries is another sprained ankle. It was at pole vault practice. We were doing sand drills with the pole. My grip was way too high and I lost control and landed one footed in a hole in the sand. Basically, I wiped out in front of both my coaches and my teammates. I am now on crutches for a good four to five days and have to crawl around my dorm room. However, there is a silver lining. My friends and I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and I was able to drive around the electric scooter. It was pretty legitimate.

Hotty McHotty Pants

After almost two weeks at Trinity, I have observed something extremely important; almost every guy at this school is very attractive. I think this is because we are in Texas and Texas is a good-looking state. Arizona, on the other hand, did not have such a variety of hotness.

I have met the preppy looking, blonde, blue eyed men. I have met the mysterious tall, dark and handsome men. I have met the sporty buff dudes and the scrawny, yet somehow attractive theatre boys. What is the importance of my observations? I will tell you. These observations make every day of my life a joy to live. You may think I am shallow, but that is because I am.

I remember when I was a wee little high schooler, I came to Trinity to check out the campus. What was the first thing I noticed? I noticed a hot surfer guy chilling in the Admissions Office. I was in love with Trinity after that day. Do not get me wrong, there are other aspects about this school that make it great, but these beautiful faces and bodies make me melt.

Girls, do not try to deny it. These boys are hot. I have never seeen such a cornucopia of gorgeous people. Will I ever date one of these boys? I sure hope so! Anyways, make sure to check out all these boys.
